What are the first steps before my visit to COEM?

• Complete your new patient paperwork, including digital registration, medical history, and informed consent.
• Participate in an intake with our coordinator, which can be scheduled 2 days to 2 weeks before your appointment. During this intake, review your history and add any important details.
• Arrive 15 to 30 minutes early on the day of your appointment with all completed paperwork and identification.

Who will I meet and interact with during my first visit to COEM?

• Upon arrival, a staff member will greet you, take your new patient paperwork, and prep you for vitals.
• You’ll then be taken to the doctor’s office or a conference room, where the doctor will meet with you to begin reviewing your case history.
• Your appointment will last 1 hour and 15 minutes, with the final 5-10 minutes reserved for a minimal, dressed physical examination.
• Afterward, a staff member will go over the doctor’s recommendations and help you select the services and products for your treatment.
• If lab testing is required, the phlebotomist will greet you, confirm the tests, and draw the necessary samples.
• Once your appointment is complete, you can collect any health aides or supplements and head back to your work or home.

Is there anything else I should know before my visit to COEM?

• We strive to create a scent-free environment, so please avoid wearing strong hygiene products, perfume, or cologne to your appointment.
• All recommended products and services will be explained in detail, and you will never be charged for anything without your full understanding and consent. There is no after-billing; you only pay for what you request or receive.
